The Wolf and The Dog Leather Co.

I got into leatherwork because I wanted gear I could use every day. Even as a kid, I gravitated toward things that felt solid—never flashy, sometimes bulky, just simple and well made. I first discovered leathercraft through a Boy Scout merit badge (shout-out to Troop 323), but it wasn't until years later that I came back to the craft and started making my own leather goods.

The American West has always been an influence. I grew up around farmers, and I've always admired the practicality of working gear and the people who use it. That influence finds its way into the things I make and the way I approach the work.

I use the things I make. Carrying them lets me see how they hold up, how they age, and what I might want to improve along the way.

Every piece that leaves my workbench gets my full attention. I take pride in what I make, but I also know there's always something new to learn and something I can do better. I don't expect that to ever change.

Handmade in the USA.

Behind the Name

The Wolf and The Dog represent two sides of the same idea.

The Wolf is drawn toward the wild, the unknown, and what lies ahead. The Dog is the loyal companion—the dependable partner and the one waiting at home.
